Tobramycin Eye Drops

How is this medication used?

Wash your hands before using the eye drops. Tilt your head back, look up, and pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch. Hold the dropper directly over the eye and place one drop into the pouch. Look downward and gently close your eyes for 1 to 2 minutes. Try not to blink and do not rub your eye. Repeat these steps if your dose is more than one drop. Follow the dosing instructions provided by your doctor or on the product package.

What are the possible side effects?

Common side effects include eye irritation, discomfort, redness, eyelid itching, or swelling. More serious side effects can include severe allergic reactions, vision changes, or pain in the eye. If you experience severe side effects, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
